1. What is TriviaPot about?
TriviaPot is a new trivia skill gaming destination where you can win cash prizes by participating in trivia games. You choose what topics you want to play and join tournaments to compete against other real players to win money.
2. Can my connection speed affect the game outcome?
No. At TriviaPot the goal is to answer the question correctly before the other players. Our software's proprietary technology registers your internet connection speed upon login. So no matter what internet connection or provider you have, it will not affect the outcome of game play. TriviaPot knows how fast you answered upon viewing the question.
3. Why should I become a member?
To compete in games hosted by us you have to become a member. It's easy to sign up and does not cost anything.
4. What do you mean by "Skill Gaming"?
All games hosted by us are based on the players' skill as the deciding factor to pick the winner. We do not host games of chance or casino games where luck can allow you to win, rather it's your own skill at the game you are playing that will allow you to win the cash staked by other players into the player prize fund (the pot).
5. How do I play the game?
Whether you are playing for Points or Money, with every question each player contributes a Entry Fee that goes into the game pot. Therefore if you are playing with 5 other players at $1/ or 1 Point per question, there will be $6 in the pot which you can win! Answer the question correctly first and you win the pot! 6. How do I get started?
First you have to register to become a member. This will allow you to compete in trivia games against other Members. If you then decide you want to play for real money all you have to do is become a Gold Member by making an actual cash deposit.
New players who have registered are Free Members and can play in TriviaPot competitions for Points and Prizes. Once you have a Member account, just click on the Play Now link and it will load for you.
To win real money, you must upgrade your Membership. Cash competitions require a credit card or PayPal deposit to play. You will need to provide your payment information and make an initial deposit to fund your TriviaPot account and gain full access to the games and community features.
7. Playing for Points and for Money.
You can choose to play to win real money or play for Points. When you play for Points you compete against other Points Players for cash and prizes. The top Point winners win prizes in our promotions and competitions. Click Here to see our current Points Competitions.

8. Depositing Money
At TriviaPot you can play and win real money! To play and win money you will need to visit the My Account section and log in to deposit. You can deposit using PayPal and Visa/MC along with many other options.
Once you deposit, you can log into the Game Lobby and start playing. There are many tables with various Entry Fee limits per question. You can also create your own Game Room and name your Entry Fee amount.

9. Withdrawing your winnings.
When you win, you can withdraw your winnings at any time by visiting My Account section. If you're quick and now your topics, you can win real money now!
10. Do some states prohibit playing skill-based games for cash and prizes?
The rules governing sweepstakes, contests and tournaments with Entry Fees or prizes are determined by each individual state, not the federal government. In accordance with these laws, TriviaPot does not offer fee-based tournaments and skill games in all states.
We strongly believe that trivia and skill-based gaming is different from games of chance. In addition, unlike gambling sites where "the house" is financially involved in the outcome of a game, TriviaPot only serves as a facilitator of games and does not make any money from the outcome of any games.
We would encourage you to contact your state legislature if you disagree with your state's policy. The laws in the following states do not currently support skill-based Money tournaments:

11. Is TriviaPot safe?
Yes it is definitely safe to use a credit card at TriviaPot. The TriviaPot payment systems are industry strength, built using the latest encryption techniques and safety measures to guarantee transaction security. TriviaPot guarantees that every transaction you make at TriviaPot will be 100% safe.
TriviaPot uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption connections for all passwords and financial information. Anytime you enter sensitive information it will always be sent to the TriviaPot servers using encryption. For our encryption of data we use digital certificates issued by a third party, Thawte, which you can verify by clicking the Thawte logo on our account pages.
12. What age do I have to be to play?
To play for real money you must be at least 18 years of age. In some jurisdictions you may have to be older and you must abide by the applicable laws in your jurisdiction. If you are not of legal age you can practice and participate in all games where real money is not involved.
13. How do I know the questions are being generated fairly?
We have gone to the extremes to make sure all of our games are played out as randomly and fairly as possible. Using our proprietary random number generation technology, Kryption T, we can confidently say that all questions are generated randomly and fairly. To get our random numbers we measure the decay of a radioactive element and then render those numbers through a software algorithm. This produces numbers that are as close to true random numbers as possible.
14. The server went down in the middle of a round. What happens?
Transactions are posted to players' accounts at the completion of every round. If a round does not complete for any reason, then all players' accounts are restored as they were at the beginning of the round.
15. Isn't playing on TriviaPot considered gambling?
No. Gambling is defined by most states as involving a "consideration" (wager), an activity involving chance, and a monetary or merchandise reward. Since all TriviaPot games are based on skill, it's the skill of the player, not luck, which determines the outcome of any competition, so they are not considered to be gambling activities. Even in games where there seems to be a minor element of chance the element of chance has been eliminated through our proprietary software-based scoring system and by giving players similar starting conditions.
Equally important, players play against each other, not against TriviaPot. TriviaPot never makes money from the outcome of a competition. TriviaPot instead makes money for setting up and managing competitions between players.
16. TriviaPot's Commitment to Fairness.
TriviaPot is the #1 spot where the world competes to win cash and prizes at games of trivia. We have achieved this status by building our foundation upon one essential ingredient: fairness.
TriviaPot makes no money on the outcome of a competition. We are in the business of organizing and managing competitions, and we take a fee for doing that. But, whether Person A beats Person B or loses to person B, our fee does not change, as we have no vested interest in competition outcome. TriviaPot never participates in a competition. We do not fill spots in competitions with employees, nor do we contract with regular players to do the same.
17. What is the difference between Real Money, Reward Points and Player Points??
There are three kinds of money that you can have in your Triviapot Account:
1) Real Money includes any money that you deposit into your account or money that you win by playing the cash games or tournaments. You can also exchange Reward Points for real cash rewards that will appear in your real money balance.
2) Reward Points are the points you earn while playing in the cash games or tournaments. You need to make a deposit into your account first in order to play for real money and start earning Reward Points. Triviapot will also give Reward Points to its Members with an initial sign-up bonus, refer a friend, as well as different promotions throughout the year.
3) Player Points are points you earn while playing for free. You will automatically be given a certain number of Player Points when you create your account. You can compete in free competitions in order to be eligible to win prizes, Reward Points and cash.
Keep in mind that the main difference between the three types is that Real Money is eligible to be directly withdrawn while Reward Points and Player Points are not.
